I was upgraded to big and silent budget twin room with view. Location: the hotel was just next door to the Golden Circle, mountains, and Secret Lagoon and Golden Circle highlands: )
Well, Wi-Fi wasn't working.

The location is in the middle of nowhere, providing a peaceful and charming atmosphere. The owners run a farm and check-in is easy. The kitchen is well-equipped and spacious for cooking and eating. There is a free washing machine available for use. The guesthouse is easy to find from the road and the internet connection is good. The price is affordable and hard to beat.
We felt welcomed and had no reason to complain.

The rooms at Heidi Guesthouse were cozy and comfortable, with a homely feel. I loved the shared bathroom and bed linen, it gave a nice communal vibe. The towels provided were a nice touch.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the shared bathroom setup. Just my opinion though!

Quaint Icelandic farmhouse with clean rooms, good amenities, and a peaceful garden. Conveniently located near Geysir and the Golden Circle. Hot water from geothermal sources provides a relaxing shower, albeit with a slight sulfur scent. The spacious, fully equipped kitchen allows for enjoyable meal preparation and socializing with other guests.

We had a wonderful romantic escape at this guesthouse. the location was perfect, close to popular attractions like Geysir and Gulfoss, and the Secret Lagoon was just a short drive away. the check-in process was easy and we had all the information we needed. the kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, allowing us to prepare our own meals. the hot shower was a great way to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Another advantage was the great value for the price we paid. We definitely felt like we got our money's worth.
The cleanliness of the guesthouse left something to be desired. Some items needed to be replaced and the kitchen chairs were quite dirty.

We had a fantastic stay at Heidi Guesthouse in Selfoss. The location was perfect, close to the secret lagoon and geysirs. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, making it easy for us to cook our meals. The towels provided were plentiful, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Checking in was a breeze, and we loved the charming atmosphere of the guesthouse. The free washing machine was a bonus! Despite a few minor inconveniences like a busy bathroom and intermittent wifi, overall I highly recommend this guesthouse for its great value and convenient location.
